Brenda's poems are mostly Christian
based and her hope is to touch, inspire
and to encourage people through her
poetry. She is currently working on a
book of poems that at a future date will be

Inside the woman, hides the little girl,
Lost within, frightened of this world.
Unable to touch another's heart
For she won't reach out of the dark
To take hold of the light,
She's grown too tired of the fight.
Frenzied madness,
Such sorrow, such sadness.
Such hopes, such dreams,
Dashed away..., so it seems.
For lost inside, frightened of this world,
Within the woman hides the little girl.
